Document Control Officer

The opportunity

We are seeking a Document Control Officer to support the Quality team and the wider business with the collation, transmission, filing and retrieval of documents and administrative responsibility for the Pharmaceutical Quality System. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing document review and approval process
  • Supporting external document requests where needed
  • Supporting Supplier Approval process
  • Monitoring and driving document and quality management approval
  • Archiving drawings and updated Quality documents
  • Managing maintenance and calibration documents within the system
  • Filing new and updated Quality documents
  • Other duties as may be required to support the department 

About You

  • Open, approachable and comfortable working within a controlled environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Flexible working with different departments to understand their responsibilities and needs
  • Ability to follow and adhere to procedures
  • Proactive approach to managing tasks and seeking opportunities to improve documents and processes
  • Good experience working with MS Office packages, Word and Excel
  • Good command of the English language

We are also seeking the following

  • GCSEs at grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Experience working in a Quality environment would be an advantage (ISO 9001/13485, cGMP)
  • History of working with a document management system would be an advantage
